The Color Blue

The color blue is one that embodies peace, tranquility, and calmness. The beach also gives off a peace vibe, which is why I chose the picture to advertise the color blue. When you are at the beach, there are no worries in the world; you just relax and be calm. The beach is a place for people to go when they need a break, and want to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of their busy lives, which is why it represents peace as well as the color blue.

Hello World!

My name is Abby Thevenot. I am a junior at LSU, pursuing a major in PR, but not really knowing what that will lead me to after graduation, hopefully something cool. I grew up in Houston, TX with my 2 older sisters and my mom.  Pledging Delta Gamma, and all of the amazing things that have followed, has  been such a blessing and I feel so lucky to be a part of it all.

I never thought that I would actually have a blog and post things about my life in it. I never thought I would get a Twitter to tweet about my blog either. Welcome to the life of a  Mass Comm student I guess. Despite, being forced to tweet and blog, I am really excited about this semester and the interesting Mass Comm classes that I am taking. I  am looking forward to using Photoshop and InDesign, which I haven’t used since high school. I hope to learn a lot from my Mass Comm classes, improve my communications skills, and have fun all at the same time. Excuse my amateur post, I am still trying to figure out this whole blogging thing.
